The Hatch Act governs the political activity of GAO employees. The PAB/OGC
is charged with investigating violations of the Hatch Act ( 5
U.S.C. § 7321, et. seq. and 31
U.S.C. § 732(b)(3)). You may also obtain informal advice regarding
the Hatch Act or report suspected violations of the Hatch Act/Prohibited
Political Activities to the PAB/OGC.
